Product Description:

Short Path Distillation is a distillation technique that involves the distillate travelling a short distance. It is method of separating mixtures based on differences in their volatilities in a boiling liquid mixture under reduced pressure. As the sample mixture to be purified is heated, its vapors rise a short distance into a vertical condenser where they are cooled by water. This technique is used for compounds which are unstable at high temperatures because it allows a lower boiling temperature to be used.

Product New Upgrade

The distillation head is equipped with Thermowellto enhance the sealing of the whole system.

Anti-reflux design at the front of the distillation head prevents excessive evaporation from backflow.

Needle vacuum valve design at the top to realize continuous collection without stopping. The receiving flask capacity can reach 1000ml, fully meet the requirements of short-range distillation collection.

The vacuum port is PTFE flange neck, with KF25 large diameter stainless steel vacuum bellows, so that can make the vacuum process is more efficient.

Distillation Head

The diameter of distillation head is increased to 80mm, and the larger space of jacket avoids heat loss during distillation.

Extended to 220mm condenser tube for full condensation, more efficient.

Electromagnetic Induction Heater

Electromagnetic induction heating, high thermal conversion 95%, Max temperature up to 380℃.

Receiving Flasks

Cold Trap
